Lucy Biro

Academy Director Lucy has been teaching for over 25 years, and dancing for almost her whole life. Hailing from a dancing family, she excelled at her exams throughout her childhood.

She learnt under the BAL syllabus and has been teaching under it for her entire career. She has her teaching qualification course under the BAL, she grades and adjudicates all levels of dance and has choregraphed Joseph and The Technicolour Dreamcoat and Grease the Musical at a leading high school.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Management, Tourism and has recently completed a Progressing Ballet Technique Course (PBT), which she looks forward to incorporating into the academy.

When she isn’t teaching, you can find her in her garden and hanging out with her two kids.
